Our Lodge

Our Lodge meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month from October through to April. We enjoy a three course meal after each meeting. The meal costs approximately £24 per month.

We have brethren aged from early 30s to late 80s within our Lodge, from all sorts of professions from retired policemen, solicitors and teachers to members from industries such as insurance, construction, retail and the civil service. Our oldest member is a retired butcher.

On Tuesday 24th October this year, we will install our new master for the following season who is W Bro Andrew Williamson.

Andy is 57 years old and is married to Linda and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

He currently works as a senior manager at University Hospitals of Coventry and has worked in the NHS for the last 15 years working in both primary and secondary care.

Prior to that he spent 20 years working in IT within Various industries.

He joined the Lodge of Gratitude in 2009 following in his fathers steps to become a Freemason. His main reasons being to meet and befriend like minded people who want to contribute to charitable organisations.

Outside of Freemasonry he is keen on DIY having self built a conservatory, house extension and porch.

He is also a keen motorcyclist since first passing his test when 17 and enjoys taking part in track days when the opportunity presents itself.

Our Lodge welcomes joining members from other lodges who have been relocated to the Leicester area. Please contact us if this applies to you.

The website editor Richard has tried to formulate this site for both our own members and for non-masons who are looking to find out more about Freemasonry. Richard has held a number of offices, and with 50 years service is the longest serving member. He is a retired chartered accountant and a Past Master of the Lodge.

One of the great pleasures in Freemasonry is visiting other lodges and creating friendships with other brethren, and we are pleased to welcome any visiting brother to one of our meetings. Please feel free to contact us for further information.
